Drupal is a system that allows users to share ideas through blogs, forums and files. There are customizable user roles and permissions as well as a high level of web safety and security.

Innovation applications:
This technology would help a teacher in providing an online location for students to submit assignments and work together on projects, while the teacher is able to stay on top of each student's work. Students will be using the computer and getting online to do assignments and this will more than likely appeal to them more than written work. Safety is a high priority which should limit parental worries.

Teachers would be able to see how much each student has contributed to make sure there is equal participation and fair assessment.
